... so unlike any other experience in this life. As a birth and postpartum doula, I am privileged to come alongside expecting mothers and their families during pregnancy, labor and the early weeks postpartum. This support is unique to you and the goals you have. Maybe you are seeking a comfortable space to talk through decisions and options, physical comfort measures, someone to partner with you to ease the transition, or useful ideas as you care for yourself and your new baby. I also provide referrals for needed services within the community. My goal is for you to feel listened to and supported in your choices and to enter into your parenting role as smoothly and joyfully as possible.
I believe that women have a powerful and instinctive nature,
that birth is a unique and meaningful experience, and
that compassionate care can bring about more positive outcomes.
